We continue to support our community with our twice monthly “Drive-through” food bank distributions. If you find yourself in need of food assistance, please do reach out – we are here to help!
Please pre-register at peggy.mauerman@gmail.com or call (720) 517-7917. However, walk-ins are always welcome.
The Old Gallery has been home to the Community Cupboard Food Bank since 2014. In 2019, our Community Cupboard provided an average of more than 20,000 pounds of free food to Allenspark area families in need each year. On average, we serve 25-30 families at each of our twice-monthly distributions.
Donations: We are always happy to accept food donations but we also appreciate cash donations as these enable us to augment donations from food distribution centers. We currently receive food donations from area food distributions centers, including Community Food Share and, Crossroads Ministry in Estes Park., Emergency Family Assistance Association in North Boulder (EFAA), Food Bank of Larimer County and the OUR Center.
Volunteering: The Community Cupboard is 100% volunteer run. We have a great team led by Peggy Mauerman, but we can always use more volunteers to help with distribution or to pick up food donations.
For more information and details about volunteering, please contact peggy.mauerman@gmail.com or call (720) 517-7917.
The Community Clothes Closet provides a year-round resource for gently used clothes and some household items. It’s located on the second floor of The Old Gallery.
If you have clothing or other household items to donate please call (303) 747-2906 or (303) 747-2089. The Clothes Closet is open during TOG business hours and during the Community Cupboard’s distributions (see above).
The Old Gallery is proud to partner with Kaelan Bradley, Mountain Community Health Worker from Mental Health Partners (MHP), to provide access to mental health services for those in need and to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
To check Kaelan’s onsite schedule, contact her (303) 545-0802 or email; kbradley@mhpcolorado.org.
The OUR Center supports our mountain community by providing services and resources when needed. They help individuals and families develop vital life-long skills to enable self-sufficiency.
If you are in need of assistance, please contact Isaac Nemcek on Cell: (303) 525-3106 or eMail: isaac@ourcenter.org
