Hiking Group (Beaver Reservoir)

Join Host, Brittni Hamilton, on an out and back hike from Peaceful Valley Campground to Beaver Reservoir along the Sourdough Trail.

When: Thursday, June 20th
Meeting Place: The Old Gallery
Departure time:  7:30 am (please arrive 10 minutes early)

Hike Details:

Participants will ride with host to Peaceful Valley Campground to start hike
Trailhead Elevation: 8,549 ft.
Hike: moderately challenging route
Length: approx. 4.5 mi. Elevation gain: approx. 700 ft. Route type: out-and-back

The Hike will start at Peaceful Valley Campground. We will then hike 3/4 miles to the Sourdough Trail. The group will then climb the 700 ft. along the Sourdough Trail to County Road 96 and Beaver Reservoir where we will stop for a snack before turning back to return the way we came back to the car.

Always bring enough WATER and SNACKS to last for the time your hike takes.
