Classic swing and fiery gypsy jazz – come dance to the rhythm!

Gypsy jazz has captured the public’s imagination for decades. In Paris, 1945, the legendary Django Reinhardt is regarded worldwide as the greatest guitar player ever. His guitar virtuosity is matched by Stéphane Grappelli’s on violin, and the pair form The Hot Club of Paris. In Gypsy jazz tradition, many American swing tunes from the 40s & earlier became part of the repertoire.
Today, the Colorado-based band Espresso! merges these same two musical traditions with red-hot interpretations of American swing and Gypsy jazz favorites. The traditions of the past come alive with powerful instrumental leads and vocals in French and English. Very danceable, this music is infectious. “You owe it to your ears.”

It is our goal to offer area residents and visitors this high-quality entertainment without the long drive to the front range. Therefore, The Old Gallery is happy to allow these very talented musicians to ask for tips from those that attend and appreciate their performance. Billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and car mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) are complete strangers, until fate lands them in the same hospital room.
